Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has questioned Chelsea under the leadership of chairman Todd Boehly for their decision to sack manager Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel was sacked as Chelsea manager on Wednesday morning after their UEFA Champions League 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
However, Henry said he was not shocked that Chelsea sacked Tuchel but was surprised they allowed the German to sign the likes of Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, and Kalidou Koulibaly before dismissing him.
“I wasn’t actually surprised given how the game is at the minute,” Henry told CBS Sports.
“What I was surprised about was why do you allow him to bring in all these players and then sack him after?
“I wasn’t surprised that he was let go because you can’t sack the whole team, sometimes the coach has to go.
“But you allowed him to bring new people in, and then you sacked him. That is what is weird for me.”
