The scholarship covers full tuition fees, monthly stipends, accommodation fees, travel costs, medical insurance, visa costs, leadership development opportunities, and counseling support. Master’s degree applicants must first apply to a graduate program before they will be considered for the Mastercard Foundations Scholars Program.

3.) Harvard University MBA Scholarship ($102,200)

4.) The Gates Scholarship Program ($50,000+)

Every year, the Gates Foundation awards fully funded scholarships to 1000 academically talented students to study for four-year undergraduate degrees in any accredited US university. The scholarship is worth $400 million. It covers full tuition, $33,000 for accommodation and living expenses, travel and airfare costs, supplemental grants to attend conferences, mentoring opportunities, and financial support for non-profits or startups for recipients of the award after graduation. Recipients receive funding throughout their graduate program at Stanford University.

 6.) Joint Japan World Bank Scholarships ($50,000+)

This scholarship is awarded to individuals from developing countries to study a master’s program at top universities in the USA or other continents. The scholarship which is worth $20 million per year covers full tuition, travel allowance, and living costs (the amount varies depending on the country). Applicants are required to be in good health, hold a bachelor’s degree, be citizens of a developing country, and have at least 3 years of work experience in a development-related area.

7.) Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships Program ($50,000)

This scholarship is awarded to young and mid-career professionals to study non-degree programs in the USA. Each professional is awarded $50,000 per year. This scholarship covers full tuition fees, monthly stipends, book allowance, computer subsidy, travel costs, professional development allowance, and accommodation allowance.

8.) ADB Japan Scholarships Program ($50,000+)

The Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program awards 135 total scholarships each year to high-achieving individuals from developing countries who have at least two years of working experience. The scholarship is worth more than $80 million per year. It covers full tuition fees, medical insurance, monthly expenses, books, and travel allowance. PhD students who have secured a full-time offer of admission from any university in the United States can apply for this grant.  10.) AAUW International Fellowships ($50,000+)

The American Association of University Women offers fully funded scholarships up to $50,000 to women from all countries for masters, PhD, or postdoctoral study in the United States.  The scholarship covers educational expenses, living stipends, and travel costs. Applicants are required to submit the following during the application:

  • Three recommendation letters from professors.
  • Proof of degree certificate.

12.) Yale Need-Based Scholarship (up to $70,000)

This prestigious merit-based scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate students who have applied to study at Boston University.  This scholarship is worth $57,100 per student. It covers tuition fees and other academic fees for four years of undergraduate study. Applicants are required to submit the admission application and complete the Trustee scholarship essay by December 1.
