1. Veteran and active duty military service members from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard, with pre- and post-9/11 eras of service.

3. Spouses, veterans, and service members must be full-time students pursuing the following degrees at a public or private, U.S.based, accredited institution for the upcoming fall/spring academic year:

An undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or above)

A graduate or professional degree

4. Child dependents are not eligible to apply.

5. Cadets/current ROTC participants with a future service commitment are not eligible to apply.

6. While acknowledging the valuable service provided by members of the U.S. Public Health Service, First Responders (including Law Enforcement personnel), and the Intelligence Community, individuals from these services who are not military veterans, service members, or spouses of military veterans/service members are not eligible to apply for Tillman Scholars.

Scholarships are granted for the upcoming fall/spring academic year, not the current one, and are not retroactive for completed courses.
