Kourtney Kardashian has announced a new gummy vitamin brand, and there’s a lot to know about the POOSH founder’s latest business venture.
The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian has found a new way for fans to connect with her famous family, as she’s launching a gummy vitamin brand. Kourtney cemented herself in the wellness world when she launched her Poosh website in 2019. The platform is similar to actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop brand, and is focused on helping women to live healthier lifestyles. There are articles about healthy eating, exercise, and self-care. In early June, Kourtney and Gwyneth teamed up to create a collaborative candle called, “This Smells Like My Pooshy,” and even featured behind-the-scenes footage of the project on a The Kardashians episode.
The mother of three has been open about her lifestyle, saying that she does her best to follow a vegan diet. Kourtney even fought with her younger sister Kim Kardashian during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, over their daughters’ joint candy-themed birthday party. Kourtney didn’t want the party to feature real candy, thanks to its chemical ingredients, and Kim felt that this was ridiculous, since the theme was “Candy Land.” Kourtney’s also an environmentalist, but fans have called her a hypocrite on several occasions, including recently, when she announced a collaboration with fast-fashion company, Boohoo.
The reality TV star is taking her health consciousness to another level with her new gummy vitamin brand. Kourtney told a Wall Street Journal reporter all about the company, which she named, Lemme. It took Kourtney five years to create her brand, which features all-natural, non-CBD vitamins. Kourtney had a very interesting approach when creating her gummy vitamins. The star tested the gummies with her doctor, to see how they would react to her body. When the vitamins did not test well on her, her doctor would explain, “Oh, it’s because they’re using corn or corn syrup or it’s genetically modified.” In her brand, Kourtney uses non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, and gelatin-free ingredients. She also steered clear of corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and sweeteners.
Kourtney compared naming her business to naming a child, saying that the moniker was very difficult to come up with. However, once Kourtney realized how many times she and her team used the phrase “lemme,” as in, “lemme focus on this,” she realized that Lemme should be the brand name. So far, Lemme offers three different vitamins, an anti-stress supplement called “Lemme Chill,” a b-12 energy gummy called “Lemme Matcha,” and a concentrated vitamin called, “Lemme Focus.” The brand, which Kourtney has spent years of her time and energy perfecting, will be available to buy later this month.
With Kim launching her private SKKY equity company, rumors of Kim and Kylie launching an app, and Kourtney launching a vitamin company, this is clearly a very busy month for the Kardashians. The vitamin company is right on brand for the Poosh founder, and goes well with her healthy living philosophy. The official Lemme Instagram account already has over 150 thousand followers, and their first post has nearly 500 thousand likes. It’s clear that fans can’t wait to get their hands on Lemme vitamins. The family will also soon start promoting The Kardashians season 2, which premieres shortly. Lemme might be featured on the new season, with all the other career endeavors that the Kar-Jenners have been dabbling in lately.
