Sara Al Madani doesn’t want fans confused about the shocking allegations Chanel Ayan made about her at The Real Housewives of Dubai reunion and decided to explain her legal threat. Fans have been calling out Sara after Chanel accused her of calling the police on her for calling her “preachy” on the show. Chanel revealed the behind-the-scenes drama while attempting to hash out her feud with Sara. But Andy Cohen didn’t want the legal claims discussed and shut down the conversation.
Viewers picked up the information and have been accusing Sara of trying to jeopardize Chanel’s freedom in her native country. Fans have claimed that UAE citizens like Sara have more privileges and rights in Dubai than immigrants like Chanel and Caroline Brooks and involving police might’ve been Sara’s way of trying to viciously take her co-stars down. If Sara did threaten legal action because of Chanel’s onscreen shade, fans think Sara might not be cut out for a housewife role since shade-throwing is a normal part of the process. Elsewhere. Sara faced criticism throughout the season for coming off as too judgmental of the other housewives. Sara and Brooks argued throughout the season after Sara told Brooks to be more affectionate with her son.

Now that Chanel made the surprising reveal and fans have been calling Sara out, the serial entrepreneur decided to clear the air on the legal threat she made. “I will say this once because I don’t entertain false, fake and petty conversations,” Sara wrote in a tweet. She went on to claim that she never called the police on Chanel and Chanel’s claims were a “lie.” Sara went on to clarify what she told Chanel. “I told her if she ever talks about my reputation or my business to social circles in my country behind my back again I’ll take legal action,” Sara quipped. Her statement made sure to note that Dubai is “my country” and she won’t allow Chanel to damage her reputation in her native land.
Fans were quick to call out Sara for making the bold statement. “Too dramatic for someone so zen,” one fan said in reference to Sara’s zen-like way of life in the new franchise. But Sara responded to the critic telling them not to “gaslight” her “standing up” for herself. Another show fan noted how Bravo doesn’t encourage lawsuits among the cast and Sara responded saying what Chanel said and did was allegedly “outside of the show.” Another viewer attempted to lay out the facts surrounding Sara and Chanel’s feud. “So you threatened her. Which is what she said. And what did she say about you that was not true?” they asked. They followed up with a screenshot of Brooks’ old tweet where she blasted Chanel for allegedly “begging” Sara not to sue her and put her in “UAE prison” for the “lies” she allegedly told.

Brooks responded by defending Sara and claiming the legal threat was made due to alleged “defamation.” The drama is brewing on The Real Housewives of Dubai and Sara and Chanel are at the center. Fans have been calling Sara the real villain on the new franchise and not Caroline Stanbury. Sara is seemingly owning her role and not backing down from the show’s fan favorite. Chanel has swarms of fans on her side. But it’s not stopping Sara from standing up for herself.
