Viewers picked up the information and have been accusing Sara of trying to jeopardize Chanel’s freedom in her native country. Fans have claimed that UAE citizens like Sara have more privileges and rights in Dubai than immigrants like Chanel and Caroline Brooks and involving police might’ve been Sara’s way of trying to viciously take her co-stars down. Sara faced criticism throughout the season for coming off as too judgmental of the other housewives. Sara and Brooks argued throughout the season after Sara told Brooks to be more affectionate with her son.

Her statement made sure to note that Dubai is “my country” and she won’t allow Chanel to damage her reputation in her native land.
Fans were quick to call out Sara for making the bold statement. “Too dramatic for someone so zen,” one fan said in reference to Sara’s zen-like way of life in the new franchise. But Sara responded to the critic telling them not to “gaslight” her “standing up” for herself. Another show fan noted how Bravo doesn’t encourage lawsuits among the cast and Sara responded saying what Chanel said and did was allegedly “outside of the show.” Another viewer attempted to lay out the facts surrounding Sara and Chanel’s feud. “So you threatened her. Which is what she said. And what did she say about you that was not true?” they asked. They followed up with a screenshot of Brooks’ old tweet where she blasted Chanel for allegedly “begging” Sara not to sue her and put her in “UAE prison” for the “lies” she allegedly told.
