Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 

As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Swing, you will partner with senior leadership at schools, networks, and districts in Texas to develop substitute teacher recruitment strategies, troubleshoot fill rate issues, and solve potential problems before they happen. You are the architect who aligns Swing’s business imperatives with our partners’ goals to deliver an exceptional customer experience and expand Swing’s footprint within schools and districts. The ideal candidate for this position is empathetic, resolute, self-motivated, curious, and unflappable. To succeed in this role, you must be able to create order in an unstructured environment as you balance revenue generation and expansion with customer delight. This role reports to the Director of Sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Negotiate contract terms with our partners to maximize Swing’s top-line revenue
  • Build and manage relationships with schools and administrators to guarantee that they are achieving their desired outcomes
  • Analyze data across different platforms (Mode, Slack, Excel, Hubspot) to diagnose customer health and bring insight to client conversations
  • Manage a high volume of inbound requests from a variety of segments, from top tier districts and networks to lower-maintenance individual school sites
  • Design, implement and improve processes to manage relationships with customers at scale

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You want to dedicate your time to ensure continuity of instruction for all K12 students in the Texas, primarily DFW
  • You have 3+ years’ work experience in Education, EdTech, and/or SaaS businesses
  • You know how to operate in an efficient manner by ruthlessly prioritizing and context-switching in a fast-paced environment
  • You have strong technical skills, and dive headfirst into learning new software and systems
  • You excel at building relationships—you establish rapport, listen, and earn your customers’ trust
  • You can organize and lead a project implementation by influencing and coordinating the actions of people outside your locus of control
  • You have a bias towards action and proactivity, and look to direct a situation rather than react
  • You proactively work to mitigate churn and handle objections to renew and expand accounts
  • You are driven to exceed customer expectations

LOCATION AND TRAVEL:

  • You will work remotely from a home office in Texas, preferably DFW
  • Travel requirements: 2-3 times a month within territory. Occasional travel to other locations for training and offsite meetings, and to state or national conferences.
